My client, a global Asset Manager are looking for a newly qualified accountant to join their Group Financial Reporting team. The team are responsible for all of the financial requirements at group level and ledger accounting for a number of the groups UK holding companies. As a Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the monthly consolidation process of the groups results. Responsibilities also include: Posting consolidation journals in the Hyperion Financial Management consolidation system in accordance with the monthly reporting timetable; Preparing various high risk balance sheet reconciliations; Ensuring that the templates used to obtain additional disclosures for the year-end and interim accounts are up to date and providing the required information; Assisting with the preparation of the year-end and interim accounts as well as with the quarterly results announcements; Preparing various schedules and analyses at year-end and interim including the slides presentation to the analysts at reporting dates; Assisting the team with various ad-hoc queries and technical accounting projects. Successful candidates will be newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 0 - 2 years PQE. You will have prior experience in group accounting/consolidations and also strong Microsoft Power Point experience.
