Job Description

Taking the overall lead for the Indonesia business, the Country Head will be responsible for the following:
Setting and implementing effective strategies to maximize growth across sales and marketing activities
Forecasting and managing budgets, ensuring the business meets its P&L targets
Leading the management team of functional heads and providing overall direction for HR and talent locally
Working with the HQ team in Singapore around shaping strategies and plans
Working with R&D, New Product Development to ensure a pipeline suited to the market needs
Working with marketing teams to generate consumer insights to in turn inspire new creative strategies for development
Collaborating with other Country Heads in SEA markets on best practice and successful campaigns

The Successful Applicant

This is a senior role which will set, manage and drive the Indonesia operations. Therefore, the business expects applicants to have the relevant skills and leadership behaviours in order to manage developments autonomously and successfully. The Indonesia business is mid sized, with 50+ people. Therefore, this role would suit someone with a good platform in general management maybe looking to deepen their experience in an entrepreneurial, fast moving and consumer driven sector. The following would be ideal:
Science based studies, followed by business management conversion (Masters / MBA etc)
10+ years experience within the healthcare sector - this business works B2C with consumers, but is a biotechnology company. Applications are welcome from healthcare services, medical devices, pharmaceutical or similar
Championing the development of the brand in the market, networking with KOL's, industry experts and with good ability to talk credibly within the biotechnology business world
Strong values set - commitment to developing people, nurturing a positive working environment, setting a good example
Someone with an informal, dynamic, engaging style would work well in this free flowing business
Fluency is English is essential, as ideally is fluency in Bahasa
