Coordinates, reviews, and prepares the plans and schedules for new or existing projects.
Provides schedule impacts for changes.
Incorporates engineering and field schedules into the performance measurement baseline.
Provides earned value reporting and performance measurements.
Provides man-hour and manpower figures and trends for cost analysis, including delayed construction, procurement and/or engineering deliverables.
Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments and work requirements.
Assists in development and implementation of project planning procedures appropriate for the project, which are in compliance with company and client requirements.
Ensures that Project Controls deliverables are satisfied and Project Control Systems and procedures are implemented.
Will perform lead fabrication Planning roles on the project

Job Requirements

Education:
4 year degree in engineering/construction/business or related field or equivalent combinations of technical training or experience.

Experience:
5-10 years experience in planning.

Must have working experience with Primavera v6 or higher.

Qualifications:
A solid knowledge of planning systems in construction required.

A solid background in the offshore oil and gas industry preferred.

Prior knowledge in an environment where the job requirements stated above have been met.

Should be able to demonstrate the same

Sound knowledge of the offshore oil and gas industry related fabrication of structures such as Topsides, Jackets and modules

Thorough knowledge of sequencing activities based on fabrication sequences, preparing schedules with clear critical paths and ability to demonstrate the same.

Should be a good facilitator between different functions to ensure the right level of detail and logic are put into the schedule.
