Welder Specialist

Job Description:

• Welding test for MMA, TIG, MIG and FCW.
• Perform routine welding test in acc with AWS and other applicable standards.
• Perform welding test evaluation for new products /competitor product.
• Perform welding test investigation in case of claim of product.
• Initiative activities for achievement high quality of products.
• Operation and maintenance of R&D welding machines & equipments.
• Welding Demonstration for product quality in internal testing or at customer’s site.
• Reporting routine welding test activities to superior.
• Support other testing requirement on the welded specimens.
• Prepare welding test reports and maintain the report records.
• Maintain stocks of welding consumables, test plates & other items.
• Coordinate machining, Testing, NDT & other out-sourced test activities.

Requirement:

• Minimal D3 in technical Institute in Welding Technology.
• Minimal 5 years experience as welder.
• Familiar with all welding processes, such as MMA, TIG, MIG, FCAW & SAW.
• Knowledge, experience & qualification as welder for all position welding as per code standard.
• Fluency in spoken & written English with emphasis on Technical Report writing.
• Computer literate
• Hard-Working, sincere & prepared to work with own hands
